After you purchased a domain from GoDaddy, you would actually let your application hosting service to manage your domain.
Interesting thing is when I let AWS to manage the domain with "Route 53" google email registered under the domain name suddenly stopped working.
If you encounter the same issue please refer below to confirm your NS and MX are configured properly.
